If and When present An Awkward Sensation
A new variety show by Allison Daniel and Kurt Bodden

It's that feeling you get when you're laughing and slightly unsettled at the same time. Allison Daniel (named a "Young Master" by Puppetry International Magazine) and Kurt Bodden (creator of the hit solo show Steve Seabrook: Better Than You) combine sketch comedy, physical theater, mime, puppetry, and clowning to concoct a world of the ridiculous and strange and hilarious. You might never feel the same way again about flying insects, tweed jackets, or peanut butter. The show comes fresh from a sold-out run at the San Francisco Fringe Festival.

Al and Kurt met in the physical-theater conservatory program at Flying Actor Studio in San Francisco.

ALLISON DANIEL trained at SF Circus Center's Clown Conservatory and at Sandglass Puppetry. She's a puppetry designer, builder, performer, director, and teacher. Chicago credits include The Joffrey Ballet, Chicago Dramatists, Blair Thomas, House Theatre, the Marriott Theatre of Lincolnshire, and Redmoon Theatre. OneFleaCircus.com

KURT BODDEN is an improvisor (BATS Improv, Edinburgh Fringe), sketch comic (Groundlings), standup comic, and storyteller. His solo show satirizing self-help, Steve Seabrook: Better Than You, played last month at Comedy Central Stage in Los Angeles, and ran for six months in San Francisco. KurtBodden.com
